THE TRUE PURPOSE CONSULTANT CERTIFICATION COURSE

The True Purpose Consultant Course draws upon the materials in the book Getting Thru to Your Soul (the Soul Book) and the audio program Awaken to Your True Purpose (the True Purpose Audios). Along with building on the information in the Soul Book, the True Purpose Audios include information on the Michael Teachings, invaluable information for understanding one’s essential nature. The CDs focus on developing this understanding, as well as on enlisting one’s resources and taking action to live one’s true divine purpose in every area of one’s life. 

The information is easy to apply to yourself and as an consultant to those you work with, providing ways to embrace your true identities both as human and spiritual beings, and to live your lives fully.

• Read the Soul Book. Those who have read the Soul Book for another Certification may select another book from the Recommended Reading list.

• Listen to the five True Purpose Audios at least two times

• To get experience working with clients, practice using the True Purpose Materials from the CDs as an advisor to others. Twenty hours of documented practice is required for certification. 

• Successfully complete the written True Purpose Advisor Certification Exam, which includes multiple choice and essay questions based on the book and tapes, to be completed as an open-book test.

• Successfully complete a 20-minute Oral Phone Interview with Phillip or Jane Mountrose. The primary purpose of this interview is to review the results of the written exam and provide some direction as you set out for the future.

The optional Individual Mentoring that is available with this course is also highly recommended to maximize the learning experience, though it is not required for completion. If selected, it includes four 20-minute telephone sessions with Phillip or Jane Mountrose to discuss questions that come up when you practice the techniques.

The Soul Book, the five True Purpose Audios, and the True Purpose Workbook are the required course materials, which are to be purchased in addition to paying the tuition costs itemized below. CLICK HERE to order the book and the audios, if needed.

Upon receipt of your tuition, Awakenings will send your Certification Packet, which includes the following materials:

• An outline of the course requirements
• A Personal Profile form to be completed and returned before beginning of the course
• A log for recording practice time using the True Purpose Advisor Techniques with yourself and others
• A written exam
• A Course Completion Checklist
• A recommended reading list

When you receive the materials, you are free to complete the course requirements at your own pace, within a period of two years. Once all requirements have been fulfilled, return the materials and call to schedule the oral interview. When all of the course requirements have been successfully fulfilled, you will receive:

• A Certificate of Completion suitable for display

It is your responsibility to understand and comply with all local laws and regulations that apply to having a professional practice using these techniques in your area.

As a note, with the separation of church and state, practicing as an ordained minister is an appropriate designation for those who wish to provide spiritual counseling to others. According to AIWP, "In every state in the United States, as part of your ministerial and congregational duties as an ordained person, you may perform work of a psycho-social nature, exempt from licensing requirements."
