EFT PRACTITIONER MODULE SUPPORT MATERIALS

This module (as with all the Spiritual Counselor modules) uses materials we have created that are tailor- made for the EFT Home-Study Certification Program. The EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Practitioner Course draws upon the materials in our popular book Getting Thru to Your Emotions with EFT (the EFT Book), along with the 2-CD set and two DVDs (the EFT DVDs) by the same name. It focuses on EFT, the meridian-based healing system that is remarkably fast and effective for addressing a wide range of issues simply by simply tapping on a series of points on the body. The materials are targeted and high-quality, insuring you a solid foundation from which to learn. This course will considerably advance the understanding of the EFT beginner as well as expert.

The EFT Practitioner Course also includes GTT, our Getting Thru Techniques, processes that uncover deeper levels of awareness, areas that sometimes need to be revealed for EFT to be most effective. Along with clearing imbalances, the materials and techniques present state-of-the-art tools that accelerate personal awareness and development, both for oneself and others.

• Read the EFT Book

• Listen to the two EFT Audios at least two times, practicing each of the techniques with yourself as you listen

• Watch the two EFT DVDs, once toward the beginning of the course and again, as a review, toward the end of the course

• To get experience working with clients, practice the EFT and GTT Techniques from the book and the tapes with others. 20 Hours of documented practice is required for certification. Attending an Awakenings Seminar that includes these techniques may be substituted for a portion of the practice time. 

• Successfully complete the written EFT Certification Exam, which includes multiple choice and essay questions based on the book and tapes, to be completed as an open-book test

• Successfully complete a 20-minute Oral Phone Interview with Phillip or Jane Mountrose. The primary purpose of this interview is to review the results of the written exam and provide some direction as you set out for the future.

The optional Individual Mentoring that is available with this course is also highly recommended to maximize the learning experience, though it is not required for completion. If selected, it includes four 20-minute telephone sessions with Phillip or Jane Mountrose to discuss questions that come up when you practice the techniques.

The EFT Practitioner Home-Study Certification is not only practical and transformational, it is very straightforward and easy-to-follow. Upon receipt of your tuition, Awakenings will send your Certification Packet, which includes the following materials:

• An outline of the course requirements

• A Personal Profile form to be completed and returned before beginning of the course

• A log for documenting self-practice of the EFT Audios

• A log for documenting practice of the EFT and GTT techniques with others

• A written exam

• A Course Completion Checklist

When you receive the materials, you are free to complete the course requirements at your own pace, as quickly or slowly as you want, within a period of two years. Once all the independent study requirements have been fulfilled, return the materials and call to schedule the oral interview. 

What will you receive with your EFT Practitioner Certification? When you have completed the oral interview and all of the course requirements have been successfully fulfilled, you will receive:

• A Certificate of Completion suitable for display

• 36 hours of credit toward the Spiritual Counselor Certification Program.

• Credit toward a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctor of Divinity Degree with Awakenings Institute, if desired.
