Awakenings Institute is a non-profit religious organization devoted to helping individuals
to open to the full expression of their true divine selves in all aspects of
their lives. Its holistic approach is the way of the future, integrating the
body, emotions, mind, and spirit.
Awakenings
was born with this dream:
Imagine
a world where love is the guiding force, where the unique gifts that each
individual brings receive honor and respect, where all are nurtured in allowing
their gifts to blossom,
to manifest the joy of living in
each moment...
Imagine
a world where all of nature is also honored, so all may live in harmony and
share an increasingly vibrant and beautiful environment...
What
we imagine we can create, starting in this moment. This vibrant world will come
into being as each of us empowers ourselves to live the dream now and share it
with others. Playing a part in the creation of this dream is the mission of
Awakenings.
In
this dream, there is no poverty, because everyone is nurtured and loved. This
love also eliminates the focus on fear and separation as we bridge the divisions
created by race, creed, and national borders to co-exist together in harmony.
The environment synchronously benefits everyone, as people all over the world
shift their focus to a more holistic approach that creates balance rather than
congesting our home planet with chemicals and toxic fumes.
Increasing our connections with our
wholeness, which we may experience as God, the creator, the source or simply the
oneness, brings us closer to making this dream a reality. We have an inherent
connection with divine order. As we progress spiritually, we unite more with our
inner wisdom, which, in turn, strengthens our connection with all-that-is. This
evolutionary quest is an upward spiral, taking us to higher levels of
consciousness and wholeness.
HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE
Awakenings
invites you to join us, wherever you are, in whatever way you feel called to
participate. As a group, we can create a new path that others can follow and
exponentially increase our presence in our communities. By joining together,
each of us has greater impact. We can create an appropriate form for the
realization of our dreams. On a larger scale, establishing a presence is a way
of claiming a space in society for a new religious form that will make us more
visible to those who share our dream.
With
the creation of a new path and a place of belonging, together we can make
positive changes in the world. Awakenings invites you to join us. Each of us can
participate in the invention of this new religious structure, develop a tangible
presence within our society, and bring the dream into being.

Awakenings is conducting and planning the
following offerings:
Ordination Program:
Awakenings is currently starting to ordain ministers who feel drawn to
fulfilling a spiritual mission as part of Awakenings Institute. The goal is to
create a strong foundation of ordained ministers involved in diverse forms of
holistic healing and spiritual growth, upon which Awakenings' worldwide
spiritual community can grow and evolve.
University Degree
Programs: Awakenings has started offering spiritual/religious doctorate,
master's, and bachelor's degrees in subjects related to spirituality and
holistic healing as part of Awakenings' commitment to lifelong learning as part
of the evolutionary journey.
New
Website at awakeningsinstitute.org: Awakenings Institute also has its

Master
Spirit Community Membership: Awakenings is now offering membership at
masterspirit.org to individuals who want to realize their dreams as part of its worldwide spiritual community.

Members Newsletter: Awakenings will be
producing a newsletters for members, to provide updates on activities and
articles of interest authored by its ordained ministers and members. This, too,
should be starting around the beginning of 2006.
Supportive Local Spiritual Communities: We
have started to have spiritual gatherings in the San Luis Obispo area and hope
to have gatherings in other areas in 2006 to create more supportive local
spiritual communities.
Spiritual Counseling and Holistic Healing
Services: As ministers are ordained, Awakenings will offer a variety of
counseling and healing services, to members and other interested individuals
worldwide.
Books, E-books, CDs, and DVDs: Awakenings
currently shares its teachings through publications by Phillip and Jane
Mountrose. We envision this expanding as more ordained ministers step forward
and add to the publications currently available.
Supportive Worldwide Spiritual Community:
Through conferences, webcasts, and teleconferences, we hope to have
opportunities to bring members from around the globe together. We envision this
occurring a ways down the road, when we have members to participate.
Presence in Society: As Awakenings grows
and evolves, we hope to create tangible presence in Society and a path to a new,
life-affirming way of being.
Current Offerings through Drs. Phillip
Mountrose and Jane Mountrose: The Mountroses, who founded and currently
direct Awakenings, are Ministers of Holistic
Healing.
In this capacity, they have created this website. They currently conduct presentations, classes, and seminars. They also
offer individual counseling, in person or by phone, with individuals throughout the United
States and in some foreign countries. Holistic Communications, the publishing
branch of Awakenings, extends its reach worldwide with books, audio tapes, and
video tapes, along with the Getting Thru E-mail Newsletters. Awakenings
Institute is non-denominational and welcomes
participation from all interested individuals with joy, love, and blessings.
