WHAT IS SK? SK (Spiritual Kinesiology) is a set of healing tools developed by Phillip and Jane Mountrose as described in their Getting Thru to Soul materials and Soul Newsletter. They can help anyone to transcend the unresolved emotions, limiting beliefs, and judgments we all encounter on the spiritual path. Kinesiology (muscle testing) can detect the energetic blockages that you are ready to release as you progress in your evolutionary process. SK adds powerful healing techniques to clear these imbalances quickly and easily by accessing the power of the soul's energy. In addition to providing deep and lasting healings, this approach also connects you with your soul's wisdom, which can also bring higher understanding of any issue you choose to address. One of the benefits of these techniques is that they are quick and non-invasive. You do not generally have to know the source of a problem or relive a traumatic experience for SK (Spiritual Kinesiology) to be effective. Of course, this defies the common belief that progress has to be slow and painful, but aligns with our approach to awakening. We need to understand ourselves to move forward, but we do not need to dwell on our difficulties. The goal is to transcend them easily, so that we can experience more joy, love, and freedom in all aspects of our lives. Phillip and Jane Mountrose have been using these techniques with clients and with themselves for more than five years and have found that this approach has supercharged their work, generally allowing participants to transform difficulties in a matter of minutes. Kinesiology refers to the use of muscle testing to access information from the unconscious mind and the body’s innate intelligence. Many people consider it to be the most advanced diagnostic healing tool available today. It works by testing how the strength of a muscle is affected by focusing on a stimulus or a part of the body and has a multitude of applications. You can use it to test how the body is affected by different substances, environmental factors, and verbal statements. There are now a number of approaches to kinesiology that are based on the work of Dr. George Goodheart, a chiropractor who developed Applied Kinesiology in the 1960s. Dr. Goodheart established a direct relationship between responses to different muscle movements and the functions of the body. Since that time, the use of kinesiology has expanded into virtually all levels of healing. Dr. John Diamond, a psychotherapist in search of more effective techniques to use with his clients, developed Behavioral Kinesiology, which focuses on balancing the meridian system. Dr. Steven Paul Shepard simplified Goodheart’s work in his book Healing Energies, which provides techniques that just about anyone can use to determine a person’s health needs. Hypnotherapist Carl Carpenter integrated hypnotherapy and kinesiology into the amazingly simple and effective healing techniques that he calls Hypno-Kinesiology. These techniques, in turn, form the foundation for the Spiritual Kinesiology techniques we use in the Getting Thru to Soul materials . We will refer to Spiritual Kinesiology as SK. You can measure many things with kinesiology, including the muscle response to:
With SK, muscle testing can locate imbalances that are completely unconscious and answer questions about your soul’s development. It also provides a way to validate your soul’s experiences and can serve as the first step in developing your intuition. THE SK CHECKLISTS -- POWERFUL TOOLS FOR HEALING Muscle testing is most frequently performed using specific protocols or checklists that evaluate whatever is being measured. Spiritual Kinesiology includes the use of a variety of checklists that you can use to measure your progress in the different stages and aspects of the spiritual journey. These checklists can help you to pinpoint issues you need to address to take your next steps. You can also use them with others to help them to locate blockage that need to be released and to understand more about their evolutionary process. THE CLEARING TECHNIQUES As with muscle testing, you can use the SK clearing techniques alone or with others. These amazing techniques allow you to complete the process by releasing the blockages you access with kinesiology. Tthey are fast, easy-to-use, and non-invasive. If you are helping other people with them, receivers of SK do not have to go into the details of their problems to release the blockages. At the same time, they are fully aware of what is happening and often gain profound insights. The main SK Clearing Technique is called Reframing and Anchoring (R&A). With the healing power of the soul, it miraculously shifts an unbalanced energy pattern to a balanced one, clearing most blockages in just a few minutes. As its name implies, R&A includes the use of two powerful hypnotherapy techniques drawn from NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming): reframing and anchoring. Reframing Reframing clears blockages by transforming an unbalanced pattern in the unconscious mind and the energy field into a balanced one. SK takes this concept a step further by reframing with the soul’s energy and wisdom. With this technique, you can anchor your soul’s wisdom into all aspects of your life and further your goal of awakening. Reframing may be the single most important technique to understand as you move forward on the spiritual path. With the wisdom of your soul, you will know that the changes you make are in alignment with your divine purpose, which is important, because your soul may have different goals than your ego. A common mistake people make is simply substituting one of their ego’s goals with another, which obviously does not further the goal of spiritual awakening. With SK, you can feel confident that the changes you make will further your spiritual development. Anchoring Anchoring is an NLP term that refers to how a memory in one the senses stimulates a response in one or more of the other senses. We have many anchors that help us to get along in our environments. Red and green traffic lights stimulate drivers to stop and start at the right times. The sound of the school bell reminds students that it is time to go to class. Anchors provide a way for the unconscious mind to sort and retrieve information. Unfortunately, if we are not aware of them, anchors may be using us more than we are using them. With awareness, however, we can replace unproductive anchors with positive resource anchors. To strengthen our relationship with our soul, we can anchor in the soul’s wisdom and bring ourselves more into alignment with our divine purpose. As mentioned earlier, the ease and effectiveness of R&A appears to be miraculous. EFT users often ask us how it compares with these amazing techniques. Although they are essentially different, they are both fast and effective healing tools that are equally easy to use. HOW CAN YOU LEARN SK FOR YOUR OWN USE? These techniques are described in Phillip and
Jane Mountrose's book Getting
Thru to Your Soul. They are also demonstrated on videos that accompany
the book and guided versions of the processes are available on audios. You can order
