2. AFFIRMATIONS FOR CREATING THE LIFE YOU TRULY WANT
Would you like to know a secret about how to live a joyous, fulfilled life? Keep reading, but we think you may have some clues from your past experience already.
After many phone and in-person consultations during the past decade, we’ve learned some very effective strategies. The one we wish to share with you can be used by those in the healing arts, as well as anyone who wishes to heal him/herself and grow personally (which should include everyone reading this).
SO WHAT’S THE SECRET?
First we help people clear issues with EFT, Spiritual Kinsesiology and holistic hypnotherapy. You may already know how to do this or visit http://www.gettingthru.org for more resources.
Once a person is cleared, then it’s time to instill a way for lasting success. We then use targeted affirmations, which can be tapped in with EFT and/or combined with soul-centering.
In fact, many of these affirmations come from soul guidance previously experienced in a personal session. You can also use contemplative meditation to find key healing, life-uplifting affirmations as well.
Let’s be clear, we are not talking about simply coming up with generic affirmations, or even affirmations that sound good. They are specific and targeted to the individual, tailored to exactly what the person needs. These transformative affirmations can result from an individual session, personal reflection, or meditation.
Once formulated, the affirmations can be said regularly, at specific times like morning or before retiring, or whenever stress arises. The affirmations become like a mantra. They replace negative thoughts, filling a person with hope, optimism, and resources.
SOME ILLUMINATING EXAMPLES
Here are some brief reviews of sessions with the resulting affirmations.
1. Joe, age 57, obsessed about having enough money for retirement. After clearing away fears and worries, we came up with these affirmations: “I appreciate having a house and living in this area. I need to trust, let go; it will all work out.”
2. Jill was critical of her husband’s behavior. After easing her critical nature, she came away with this affirmation: “I accept others for who they are and myself for who I am.”
3. On the other side of the equation, Barbara beat herself up with negative self talk whenever she was criticized. After finding a way of loving and accepting herself more with energy healing, she started using this affirmation: “I am intelligent; I can handle yourself. I’m good the way I am.” Also: “I have support in my life. I love and accept myself.”
4. Tom was molested as a child. After some healing work, he started using this affirmation: “I'm safe and in control, and can do what I know is best for me. And I’m learning how to trust others.”
5. Alice was dealing with a boyfriend who was clingy. After clearing some underlying issues, here is what she committed to telling herself regularly: “I’m learning firmer, reasonable, realistic boundaries. I am growing more at peace with myself.”
CREATING INSTEAD OF REACTING
The mass consciousness (prevailing thought forms) does not promote following your spirit. To step out of this status quo CNN-reality, it’s important to create your own thought forms.
The mass consciousness tends to put us in reaction mode. Creating individualized, affirmative thoughts helps us be pro-active. In turn, we can more easily follow our own paths. We then are programming ourselves with the help of our own souls, rather than following society’s programming.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The above examples may provide some ideas for you to use as starting points. Remember to make it feel right and tailor the words to your deeper desires. There are many possibilities, and they can evolve over time.
This should give you an idea of how powerful and transformative this approach can be. To review: First clear issues, then let a targeted, soulful affirmation emerge.
Use affirmations regularly. You will be amazed at the difference. Life will change and be far better and more blessed. Try it and send us your feedback.
